A few things you will learn when you buy my eBook.

  • 2 Ways to Train Your Dog.  The "Treat" or the "Clicker"

Getting your dog to expect a treat every time they perform the right command might not be the best way to train every dog.  The practice of giving a dog a "treat" can be traced back to the days of the Romans. Soldiers trained their dogs with small treats of "meat" when they performed.

Today this practice is still widely used, but might not work for all dogs.  In fact, some trainers use a blend of two techniques.  They start off the dog with the "treat," at first.  Then they switch to a "clicker."  They play the click sound when the dog performs.  The dog soon learn to appreciate the click sound just as much as the treat they used to receive. (Really).

Breaking the Jumping Habit.  It Start at the Puppy Stage.

Ah, puppies. Who doesn’t love a puppy? It’s fun and cute when they leap, run and jump when they’re only a few pounds. But when Fido grows up and is an 80-pound Labrador, the jumping on people isn’t quite as cute anymore.

My eBook will show you several techniques to get a puppy introduced to people and how to socialize them. One of the best training techniques is to reward puppies for sitting as a positive reward. Again the treat or the clicker technique comes into play again here.
