ABOUT ME . . . . . My name is Denis Nawrocki, though you may know me by my pen name, Cotter Bass. I’m an 87-year-old retired architect and former U.S. Marine. During the past 65+ years, I have pretended to be a writer, a publisher, a photographer, a husband, and a father. I presently live in Greenwood, a small community just south of Indianapolis, Indiana, with Violet, my lovely bride for more than six decades. In addition to my daily writing and publishing activities, I enjoy photography and the outdoors, especially fishing and golf. While the majority of my early work targeted freshwater fishing and other outdoor subjects, I now direct the majority of my writing and publishing efforts toward historical themes, with World War One heading the list of 20th century topics.
